2005 "BAMAHAM" (aka birmingham, alabama) Immersion:

stayed at a church center place that had an indoor b-ball court, pool table, gym workout stuff, ping-pong, and fooseball. thats right betches, FOOSEBALL:

two weeks living with me = contagious zoolander-like behavior. showed my betches how to model walk (aka WORK IT). hehe good times:

went for a day trip to ATLANTA, georgia BETCHES! saw martin luther king's birthplace, ate SOUTHERN FATTY-ASS BBQ, and watched the A's vs. Braves:

visited civil rights park where demonstrators were hosed down by them racist @$$ police folk:

daym SO MUCH STUFF happened on this freakin trip i cant even explain:

- went to a men’s homeless shelter: omfg i was given the job to PAT PEOPLE DOWN (yes, for like weapons and shyte) before they came in = hella scary at first, but the people are so fucking nice genuine and down to earth that there was nothing to be scared of.

-  worked at community gardens: planted trees, worked a leafblower = had fun BLOWING "father nature"

- a lot of "inner searching" going on, such as: "god, where the FUCK ARE ALL THE ASIANS?!" finally saw one, had a southern accent. hella tight.

- went to a BAPTIST MASS/SERVICE (ya no the one where people say like "HALLELUJAH" and "AMEN" every second): made us all realize "daym, thank god we're catholic"

- alotta physical schtuff: painted rooms, built houses: 

im forgetting SO MUCH SHIT its not even funny. still, trust me on this, immersion was the MOST UNFORGETTABLE / BEST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE
